1. What North Step is
North Step is an AI-guided self-orientation tool produced by Oldman AI Solutions. It helps you reflect on who you are, identify a direction (a Massive Transformative Purpose), and take next steps — including, at later phases, exploring entrepreneurship.
2. What North Step is not
North Step is not:
- A licensed mental-health, medical, or psychiatric service. Nothing the app says is therapy or medical advice.
- A licensed legal, tax, accounting, or financial advisor. The Founder Brief and any business-formation guidance are general information only.
- An employment guarantee. Self-employment outcomes are inherently uncertain.
- A substitute for human professionals. Consult licensed practitioners in your jurisdiction before acting on anything material.
3. AI involvement
North Step uses third-party AI models (currently OpenAI). When you generate snapshots, hold discovery conversations, or scan journal entries, your inputs are sent to these providers under their respective terms. AI-generated output may contain errors or inaccuracies. Use your judgment.
4. Your data
See the
Privacy Notice. You own your inputs. You can delete your profile at any time from Settings.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use North Step to harm yourself or others, attempt to manipulate or extract proprietary prompts, or violate applicable law. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
6. No warranty, limited liability
North Step is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oldman AI Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or your account email.
8. Governing law
Oldman AI Solutions Inc. is based in Alberta, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
